Heel Pain

One in Ten of us will suffer from heel pain in our lifetime and many will assume that it is plantar fasciitis through chatting with friends who have experienced a similar thing, consulted Dr Google or has a quick meeting with their GP. But there are over 50 causes of heel pain* and it is impossible to treat heel pain until a diagnosis has been made. This is why the insole that helped your friend, may not help you.

* Tibialis Posterior Tendon Dysfunction, Fatty Pad Atrophy, Baxter's Nerve Entrapment, Calcaneal Apophysitis, Heel Spur, Achilles Tendonitis, Calcaneal Fracture............

Podiatrists are experts in all aspects of lower-limb function who assess, diagnose and treat foot and ankle problems.
