Insurance

Stride Clinic Podiatrists are registered with most medical insurance companies. If you are new to the practice please call 01270 767744 to book if you will be processing a claim through your insurance company to ensure that we obtain the correct information.

If you wish to use a Health Insurance policy, that requires Stride Clinic to invoice your provider directly, please call the clinic to make the appointment as there are certain details we need before seeing you in clinic.

  • All of our podiatrists are registered with the above insurers.

  • Stride Clinic can accept self-referrals, however you should check with your policy in case you require a GP referral.

  • It is your responsibility to inform your insurance company prior to each consultation and ensure that your appointment/ treatment is pre-authorised.

  • Stride Clinic will bill your insurer for each consultation if you have a Health Insurance Policy. If your insurer fail to cover your appointment fee, Stride Clinic will contact you for payment.

  • If there is an excess to pay on your claim after your treatment your insurer will contact you and Stride Clinic. Stride Clinic will email you an invoice or you can call the clinic when you receive your notification from your insurer.

  • These insurers do not cover dressings, medication or medical devices such as insoles, orthotics or splints. Please ensure that you have contacted your insurer in advance of your appointment so you are aware of what you are eligible to claim for.
