Toenail Reconstruction

Toenail Reconstruction uses UV-activated sculpting gel that is specifically designed for toenails. The highly elasticated formula can withstand the forces a toenail is exposed to. It is used for correcting deformities, disguising discolouration, and reshaping toenails.

The formula is acid-free and contains antifungal ingredients that effectively prevent nail infections and reduce the spread of germs, ensuring the overall well-being of your nails.

There are a number of reasons why people may wish to consider Toenail Reconstruction. This could be due to a nail missing, damaged or incomplete following nail surgery, fungal infection, trauma or medication.

The application and removal process of the gel is kind to the underlying nail and nail bed, this can encourage new nail growth and guide a misshapen nail.

The product can be painted to match your other toenails, trimmed as your nail grows and infilled and reapplied as necessary.

Some patients prefer to only have toenail reconstruction for the summer or a special occasion and others like to have them all year round.

A reconstructed toenail can be much more comfortable than the damaged nail by redistributing the forces exerted on the nail bed more evenly.
